CRIME NEWS

  • Kentucky State Police are investigating a murder that occurred on Cart Bell Ridge Road in Wayne County—troopers have made an arrest but have not released a name.  WKYT
  • The Lexington Police Department issued a Golden Alert for Matthew Perry, a 24-year-old man with a developmental disorder who was last seen Sunday at 2:40 p.m. in the 3200 block of Mantilla Drive traveling on foot and described as 5-foot-10-inch tall and weighing 170 pounds with green eyes and brown hair; anyone with information is asked to call 911.  LEX 18
  • Lexington Police Department issued a Golden Alert for Matthew Perry (24) who was last seen around 2:40 p.m. on Sunday on the 3200 block of Mantilla Drive; he is (5 ft 10 in, with green eyes and brown hair) and has a developmental disorder.  FOX 56

HEALTH NEWS

  • The University of Kentucky held its annual DanceBlue fundraiser on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and ended on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at the Historic Memorial Coliseum to support pediatric oncology research and the DanceBlue Hematology/Oncology Clinic — severe weather forced an early end and the record-breaking event raised $2,305,274.20.  LEX 18
