- ➤ Kentucky schools have closed today because heavy rain on April 3 caused flooding and made some roads impassable. Many districts including Russell, Garrard, Lincoln, Marion and Washington have declared NTI days — with rain expected through Sunday. FOX 56

- ➤ Due to severe weather forecasts and safety concerns, Keeneland postponed its opening day with the final four races canceled — CEO Shannon Arvin said the change protects horses and guests — and rescheduled key races to Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday with free admission on the latter two days.
