ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Georgetown police closed the I-75 northbound ramp at Cherry Blossom Way (126-mile marker) on Sunday evening after a deadly crash and cleared the area while investigating the incident.  FOX 56

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • On Sunday, Midway Mayor Grayson Vandergrift said significant flooding affected the city but the situation remained stable—he noted the city was relatively lucky compared to nearby areas. He warned residents against unnecessary risks and said emergency responders were working hard as the flood will take days to recede.  LEX 18
  • Multiple cities issued water conservation notices after recent flooding raised concerns over water treatment safety, with Nicholasville Utilities reducing production to protect equipment+ Versailles Municipal Utilities shutting off power at its intake and planning to distribute bottled water tomorrow+ other providers also urging customers to limit non-essential use.  LEX 18
