ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle crash on Delong Road in Lexington between Colliver Lane and Walnut Hill Road — the vehicle flipped and is now being moved — and the road will reopen once the scene is cleared with no word on injuries. ABC 36
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A Lexington woman, 40-year-old Mia White, is scheduled for arraignment at 1 p.m. Monday on charges of murder after she is accused of fatally shooting 24-year-old Elmer Eldridge on Newtown Pike last Friday, marking the sixth homicide in Lexington this year. ABC 36

- ➤ FOX 56’s Marvin Bartlett releases his new book today—Spirit of the Bluegrass: Strange, Surprising, and Sentimental Stories from Kentucky—that has over 220 pages of bluegrass stories about local celebrations and people. - ➤ Today at 7:15 p.m., the Kentucky Theater will show 'From The Cowboy’s Boot Heel', a documentary by Steven Middleton about local country artist Rob McNurlin. The film highlights his musical journey—following the screening, a live performance and Q&A with Michael Johnathon will take place. WUKY

- ➤ New data from the National Institute for Early Education Research shows that in 2024, Kentucky spent about $6,500 per child as more kids attended preschool, an increase of over $800 from last year.
