- ➤ Catholics in Lexington celebrated Cardinal Robert Prevost's election as Pope Leo XIV— the first American selected to lead the Catholic Church— in a historic moment that local church leaders say may bring the progressive changes begun by Pope Francis. LEX 18
- ➤ Cultural Research Analysts used a gradiometer on Wednesday at the Henry Clay Estate to measure magnetic fields and find lost parts of the old grounds — the work will help confirm past structures such as slave quarters and the first building for the University of Kentucky. LEX 18

- ➤ Travelers at Blue Grass Airport said the check-in process was smooth as officials enforced the Real ID requirement earlier this week.
