EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton and state representatives awarded 30 high school graduates scholarships at City Hall Tuesday morning through the Building Bridges to Opportunity program, which supports those affected by gun violence. Eighteen students received $10,000 awards + 12 obtained skills scholarships, with a total of $280,000 distributed to help them pursue careers in fields such as social work and criminal justice. WKYT
