- ➤ Police responded to an overnight crash at the intersection of Nicholasville Road and Zandale Drive in Lexington just before 12:30 a.m. Friday and arrested a driver on suspicion of DUI while taking another to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries — the investigation is ongoing. ABC 36

- ➤ Bryan Station High and SCAPA at Bluegrass students excelled at the KYAEA 2025 all-state art competition as Krisean Smith won Best in Show 3D for 'Meanwhile' while other FCPS winners earned first-place awards in ceramics, painting, and video. Middle school students from SCAPA also received honors and the high school art show runs through May 24 at the Bolivar Gallery on UK campus — showcasing award-winning art from local schools.
