- ➤ The Fayette County Public Schools board approved a tax increase on Tuesday night to cover a $16 million budget deficit, which will cost residents about $13 more per month. - ➤ Kansas City-based real estate developer Hunt Midwest has begun construction on two Class A industrial buildings at Simpsonville 64 Logistics Park in Simpsonville—off Interstate 64 exit 28, offering 775,000 square feet of space available for lease.
