- ➤ Marcia McQueary, whose daughter Victoria died in an April crash, said she hopes the arrest of 48-year-old Elizabeth Fox—charged with vehicular homicide and DUI in connection with the crash at Richmond Road and Berea Bypass and held on a $100,000 bond—will help remind people not to drive after drinking. - ➤ Kentucky health officials are urging parents to update vaccines after two infants died from whooping cough in the past six months — both the infants and their mothers were not vaccinated. - ➤ The UK Markey Cancer Center held its 11th annual Survivor Celebration luncheon on Friday—allowing cancer survivors to relax with art, music and yoga to ease pain and honor loved ones lost. LEX 18
- ➤ Two infants died from whooping cough in the last six months as officials reported that neither the infants nor their mothers had received the recommended vaccines. Health officials urged Kentuckians to get the necessary shots, including maternal vaccines during pregnancy and vaccinations for infants starting at two months old. LEX 18
