- ➤ The White Hall Volunteer Fire Department reported that Lexington Road at exit 90 in Richmond was closed in both directions at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday—officials said the closure stretches from the Derby Chase subdivision near exit 90 to Dishman Shell at the Boonesborough Road intersection and advised drivers to use an alternate route. - ➤ UK Athletics Director Mitch Barnhart said Saturday that the program would adjust its operations after a court-approved NCAA settlement allowed schools to pay student-athletes directly—he noted that the new framework will take effect July 1 and add roughly 20 to 30 million dollars in extra annual expenses while changing revenue sharing.
