- ➤ This summer, God’s Pantry Food Bank will open 30 feeding sites to provide free meals and snacks for children and teens 18 and younger across Kentucky. The program will distribute over 30,000 meals during the ten‐week break and is supported by local partners including Fayette County Public Schools and the Lexington Public Library. FOX 56
- ➤ A Louisville native from Lancaster, Skylar Davis started a Period Y'all Pantry outside the Garrard County Community Food Bank to fight period poverty, as one in five Kentucky women aged 12 to 44 live in poverty. The pantry filled up quickly between Friday and Monday, and Davis plans to expand the program statewide if local groups can donate old newspaper containers and help run new pantries—she hopes no one will have to choose between food and hygiene. - ➤ Lexington court records show that Jesus Reyes Rodriguez faces charges of tampering with physical evidence related to the disappearance of two teenagers last seen on May 11 at a car linked to Loradale Market & his 17-year-old son is accused of the murders. WKYT

- ➤ Council will vote final approval on HB 443 ZOTA that revises planning and development regulations in Lexington on Thursday and prompt LFUCG to update stormwater and dumpster rules. - ➤ Kentucky health officials confirmed that two infants died from whooping cough—commonly known as pertussis—in the last six months, marking the state's first such deaths since 2018.
