ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A house fire on Sunday evening on Colby Road in Winchester destroyed a home and killed several pets when the residents were away shopping, and a passerby called 911 after noticing smoke. LEX 18
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A suspect was taken into custody after a barricade situation on Fontaine Road near Henry Clay High School that began around 5:15 p.m. on Sunday and ended just before 7:30 p.m.—he was later taken by ambulance to a hospital with minor injuries. ABC 36
- ➤ Lexington police are investigating an alleged assault that occurred late Sunday night on Charles Avenue—officers say the victim was struck with an unknown object and taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while no suspect has been identified yet. ABC 36
