CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Lexington Police and Kentucky State Police said they investigated a shooting that occurred at around 11:40 a.m. Sunday at 4000 Terminal Drive when a state trooper was shot and the suspect fled to Richmond Road Baptist Church where multiple victims were treated before he was found dead—Blue Grass Airport guided passengers to open parking and flights continued as usual. - ➤ Lexington police responded at 3:49 a.m. to a shooting (three people were injured, including one with life-threatening wounds and two with minor injuries, and a vehicle was struck) on the 900 block of Winchester Road, leaving part of the road closed for investigation. WKYT
- ➤ A trooper was shot during a traffic stop on Terminal Drive at Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, temporarily halting operations as authorities responded—officials said suspect Guy House allegedly shot the officer and carjacked a woman before fleeing to Richmond Road Baptist Church. LEX 18
