- ➤ Lexington Police are looking for a juvenile suspect aged 15–17 who robbed another youth at gunpoint at Castlewood Park around 7 p.m. Saturday night—officers said the victim and their family recovered the stolen property after the suspect fled on foot. WKYT
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ More than 200 children received backpacks with school supplies at Trinity Assembly of God in Georgetown during a back-to-school event hosted by Rewriting Stories Hope for Single Parents (the event featured inflatables, food trucks, free haircuts, and eye exams). State Representative Vanessa Grossl partnered with the National Foundation of Women Legislators and Walmart to support single-parent families as they prepare for the new school year. LEX 18
