- ➤ Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky will upgrade its paint shop and assembly line to build a new battery-electric vehicle under president Kerry Creech — who began his career at the plant in 1990 and now partners with local colleges to boost workforce training — and the improvements will let the facility flexibly make both sedans and SUVs.
