CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Lexington police arrested 20-year-old Jaylin Clark after a carjacking and robbery early Monday when officers responded to a report on Cambridge Drive and later spotted the suspect armed with a rifle on Lakeshore Drive—he now faces charges including wanton endangerment, fleeing, and possession of a firearm as he was treated for minor injuries. - ➤ Officers went to a robbery on Cambridge Drive near 2 a.m. Monday and later chased a suspect on Lakeshore Drive who was armed with a rifle—he fired one shot before officers fired back, and while no one was hurt, the suspect received minor injuries, was taken to a hospital and is now in custody as the investigation continues.
