  • LEX 18 team members connected with locals at the Paris-Bourbon County Pumpkin Festival on Saturday—handing out merchandise and chatting with families on a sunny fall afternoon. The event brought residents and visitors together to celebrate autumn and community spirit.  LEX 18
  • The foundation is poured + hundreds of volunteers will soon help build a three-bedroom home for single mom Ronnesia Franklin, her teenage son, and tween daughter as part of Habitat for Humanity Women Build. Franklin, who works for the University of Kentucky as a state-registered nurse's aide, will donate 250 hours to help build her home and secure stability for her family.  WUKY
  • Staff Sergeant Henry Gerald Gish, killed in action during the Vietnam War, was buried Saturday in Berea Cemetery—his remains, which had been missing for many years, were recovered and identified.  LEX 18
