  • Governor Andy Beshear said that more safe medical cannabis will soon be available for patients as Natural State GreenGrass CannaCo in Madison County passed its second inspection and begins growing. The facility is the second approved in Kentucky, with 16 cultivation licenses issued so far + most going to out-of-state companies.  WUKY

  • The YMCA of Central Kentucky is selling its historic High Street location that served downtown Lexington for over 60 years to provide space for student housing, with developer Trammel Weber set to tear down the building for new apartments. The decision came after careful analysis to secure a financially viable downtown presence — a choice that has stirred mixed reactions among members — and the YMCA plans to rebuild a new facility soon.  WKYT
