ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A multi-vehicle crash caused a backup on I-75 in Madison County yesterday when I-75 Northbound at MM 83 was reduced to one lane—exit 77 was designated as an alternate route—and the crash was reported at 6:40 a.m. WKYT
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton and state representatives awarded 30 high school graduates scholarships at City Hall Tuesday morning through the Building Bridges to Opportunity program, which supports those affected by gun violence. Eighteen students received $10,000 awards + 12 obtained skills scholarships, with a total of $280,000 distributed to help them pursue careers in fields such as social work and criminal justice. WKYT
- ➤ Transylvania University dedicated the renovated Sanders-Siebers Entrepreneurship Hub on Monday, marking Kaelyn Query Caldwell’s appointment as full-time director for the Center for Entrepreneurship.
